6 Month Stats!

I still can't believe my baby girl is 6 months old...6 months 1 week to be exact!  She went for her 6 month shots today and did awesome!  She only cried for like 10 seconds, way better than the last 2 times.  She weighs 18 pounds and is 24 inches long.  She's my little shorty!  Ryan weighed 20 pounds and was 27 inches at 6 months....Alex was 19 pounds and 28 inches at 6 months.  It's kind of cool to look back and see the difference between her and the boys.
I'm so glad I kept up with the monthly pics, I love to see how much they've grown.  Since I'm with them all the time I don't notice the growth that much as some people who don't see her often.  Gosh she's grown and changed so much!

Christmas Wreath

Since making my fall wreath I decided I was going to make a Christmas wreath to.  I bought all the supplies I needed and ended up with this.  I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

Alex's First Swim Lesson!

I've wanted to get Alex is swimming lessons for a while....well since he turned 3 but it just never worked out.  I finally signed him up a month before the class started and then a few days before it started they called me and had to cancel it because nobody else signed up.  I was bummed.  I really wanted this for him.  I mentioned this to my neighbor and told her I wish more kids were signed up as there has to be at least 2 in the class for it to go forward.  She has a 4 year old daughter so I mentioned that she should sign her up and they could go together.  She thought it was a great idea so she signed her up.  Finally Alex and his friend Wendy would start there first swim lesson together!

They were so excited the day of the lesson and had a great time.  Alex wouldn't stop talking about when he could go again.

So excited to start soon! - So cute!

Seeing who is taller :)  Alex is 3 and Wendy is 4 - she is 8 months older

My girl is 6 MONTHS OLD!

How can it be that my daughter is already 6 month old?!  Time is just flying and it does so the more kids you have.  I'm trying to take in every second of her being young but it's just passing b so fast.

Sera is such a great baby.  She's only waking up twice a night now (used to be 3 or more)  She smiles and giggles all the time.  She just adores her brothers and smiles when ever they walk in the room.  Same with daddy, big smiles when he comes home from work.  But she's a momma's girl....she wants me 95% of the time.  I'm cool with that but sometimes this momma needs a break!   Sometimes I just have to let someone else have her for a bit so I can have a bit of me time to regroup, eat, freshen up and whatever else.

She rolled over about 5 times and started to do so at 4 months but hasn't since.  She's been sitting like a champ since 4.5 months.  She's trying to crawl but it's hard with laminate flooring as she just slides backwards and blankets just make worse.  Hubby thinks she's walk and pass the crawling stage...I guess we'll see.  She was very interested in what we've been eating lately so she's tried bananas, peaches, carrots and sweet potatoes.  I'd say peaches are her favorite.  She's ok with carrots but doesn't love them.  When she starts something she does it like she's been doing it for months.

I've taken monthly photos of all my kids but haven't done as many with Sera so for her 6 month photos I made sure to take them.  She was so awesome during it all.  I have to say doing this shoot was one of my favs, I've dreamt of doing pictures like this forever!

Happy Halloween!

The kids had a great Halloween an got lots of goodies.  We went with a Monsters Inc theme and Ryan was Mike, Alex was Sully and Sera was Boo.

We had a busy day.  I dropped Ryan off to school and then after that I took the other 2 to preschool for there Halloween party.  I made cupcakes for the gang and like usual everyone gobbled them up.
Later after dinner I took the boys out in the evening trick or treating while Sera stayed at home with daddy to hand out candy.  People loved the boys costumes and kept commenting on how cute they were and I would tell them that my daughter was Boo but at home and they would try to give me candy for her but I said no thank-you as she's only 5 months old.
I love doing themes for Halloween.  I'm thinking next year will be super heros!
